Star rankings - explained
Our star ranking system is a broad indicator of a players collegiate future, assessing both their current ability level and long term upside.
These star level assessments are not equivalent to those found on US-based scouting websites. The star rankings broadly indicate the following assessments –
★★★★★ – A high major D1 recruit with NBA upside
★★★★ – A high major D1 recruit
★★★ – A mid major D1 recruit
★★ – A clear low major minimum D1 recruit
★ – A fringe D1 recruit
Players are not ranked within those of the same star ranking.
These are an approximation to guide programs towards players around their appropriate level. For player specific information regarding player’s eligibility, ability, current interest/offers and interest in college, refer to their specific player profiles.
